From performing duties to hosting stunning events, from knighting people to helping those in need, the British Royal Family has always been the talk of the town. And for the record, the unpopular members of the Royal family receive similar admiration just like the popular ones.
Frankly, you can never get tired of talking about the Royal Family, so to add to your gossip list, today we’ve retrieved some crispy bits about the Royals. However, this time it’s not about the Queen or Meghan or the new Royal Kid Archie. This time it’s about Princess Eugenie, the granddaughter of the Queen.
Born on March 23, 1990, Princess Eugenie is the younger daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York. After Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie is tenth in line to the throne. She’s married to Jack Brooksbank, the European ambassador for Casamigos, the tequila co-created by George Clooney in 2013, and will give birth to her first child hopefully in early 2021.
The Brooksbanks have been hitting the headlines for suddenly leaving Windsor Castle, where they were previously residing. Let’s dig deeper into the matter, shall we?
What’s up with Princess Eugenie’s frequent relocations?
Until now, it looked like Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank were set to welcome their first child at the Frogmore Cottage. But then her sudden relocation to the Windsor Castle surprised everyone.
The relocation itself was a good idea since the castle was empty after the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex settled in Santa Barbara. FYI, the Windsor Castle was a gift from the Queen to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their wedding day.
Coming back to Princess Eugenie, she and her husband Jack had moved into Windsor Castle towards the end of 2020. The news caught fire when according to an episode of the podcast, HeirPod, the couple left the Frogmore Cottage without giving a clear reason.
Interestingly, the series is hosted by Omid Scobie, the coauthor of Finding Freedom, a biography on the Sussexs. Scobie incidentally also believes that Eugenie and Jack are currently residing at the Royal Lodge.
During the episode, Maggie Rulli, ABC News London correspondent, said that she’d heard rumors about Princess Eugenie relocating to the Frogmore Cottage.
Maggie added some spice to the news by saying that despite the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s humble act of allowing Princess Eugenie and her husband to stay at Windsor Castle, the couple moved out mysteriously. She concluded that no one was aware of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s current residence.
What is Princess Eugenie’s due date?
Very soon, the Royal family will be welcoming a little member. Most of you would be aware of Princess Eugenie’s pregnancy, and the child is due in mid-February. The unborn will be the ninth great-grandchild to the Queen and will also be in line to the throne.
